Winery Overview & History
Grace Vineyard is one of China’s most influential family-owned estates, founded in 1997 in Shanxi. It helped set the benchmark for modern, estate-bottled Chinese fine wine with a philosophy of precision, hospitality, and consistency.
Vineyard Location & Terroir
Vineyards are spread across Taigu and surrounding valleys at moderate elevations with continental climate and significant diurnal swings. Soils of loam and calcareous clay promote structure, fragrance, and balance.
Grape Varieties & Wine Style
Core varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay. Grace wines emphasize purity and finesse: red currant, plum, cedar, and fine-grained tannins in reds; citrus and white flowers with mineral lift in whites.
Signature Wines
- Deep Blue — Flagship Bordeaux-style blend, elegant and age-worthy.
- Chairman’s Reserve — Limited selection from top parcels.
- Angelina Chardonnay — Textural, fresh, and mineral.
Winemaking & Cellar Practices
Hand selection, small-lot fermentations, and judicious French oak support transparency and balance. Continuous R&D refines viticulture across parcels.
