Winery Overview & History
Seña was founded in 1995 as a visionary partnership in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley. Conceived to craft a Chilean Grand Vin, Seña unites meticulous viticulture and biodynamic principles with a Bordeaux mindset.
Vineyard Location & Terroir
The estate vineyard in the Aconcagua Valley sits on north-facing slopes with colluvial and alluvial soils over clay and rock. Cool Pacific influences moderate warm days, preserving aromatics and structure.
Grape Varieties & Wine Style
A Bordeaux blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Malbec, Carmenère, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Dark fruit, violets, tobacco, and fine graphite meet polished tannins and vibrant length.
Signature Wines
- Seña — The estate’s flagship Grand Vin; biodynamic and age-worthy.
- Arboleda / Caliterra (historical links) — Sister projects highlighting coastal freshness and value.
Winemaking & Cellar Practices
Parcel-by-parcel vinification, gravity flow, French oak maturation, and biodynamic farming to express place with purity and balance.
